Smiling Tree pledges to plant 100 saplings for every medal won by India at the Tokyo Olympics.
As a mark of respect to the miraculous Mirabai Chanu, our first medalist,who won silver in 49 kg women weightlifting, for the badminton legend PV Sindhu who won Bronze medal and for the Iron Lady from Assam Lovlina Borgohain who has won a Bronze medal in women boxing, we will be planting 300 saplings at Ramjas College, University of Delhi, 8 am onwards on Friday, 6th August, 2021.
In the coming week we will be planting 100 saplings for Ravi Kumar Dahiya who is now in finals of men's 57kg freestyle wrestling and is assured of a medal. Alongside hoping to plant hundreds more for many more India medals at the Tokyo Olympics!!!
