In honor of Earth Day, Smiling Tree orchestrated a Plantation Drive at Hansraj College, Lalit Mahajan SVM School, and at a society garden in RK Puram, yesterday, with two young children Aarav Kwatra & Alina Kwatra of Modern School at the helm. Smiling Tree, a prominent advocate for environmental sustainability founded by Dr Mukesh Kwatra, proudly collaborated with Delhi Police – Roop Nagar Police Station. Together, they embarked on a journey to transform the police station into an environmentally and citizen friendly facility, culminating in the station’s recent triumph of securing the third position.
At present, there are 15 districts and 209 police stations in Delhi. Annually evaluation is done by Delhi Police to choose the best Police Stations of Delhi. A Special Commissioner and two Joint Commissioners were delegated the task. Sultampuri Police Station bagged the first position, Okhla Police Station the second place and Roop Nagar Police Station the third.
